Obviously not forgotten

A typical morning in Mrs. Hamilton's class.
A typical morning for the working men and women of the United States.
A typical morning for travelers boarding a plane.
All is calm on the East coast until Mohammad Atta hijacks flight 11.
All is calm until 8:46 am when things would never be the same.
All is calm until 9:00 am when families were told their loved ones were lost under tons of debris.
All is calm on flight 175 until Al Sehinni guided the plane to fly through the South tower.
All is calm in my own 4th grade class until a classmate in the hall informed me people were blown up.
All is calm in my elementary school until we had a mandatory closing for the day.
All was calm in my life until years later when I really understood the devastation.
All was calm in our soldiers lives until they departed to fight al qaeda in Afghanistan and Iraq.
All was calm until September 11, 2001.
Nothing will ever be calm again in the memory of the soldiers who fought in this ongoing war.
Nothing will ever be forgotten because the playground for the children of Afghanistan is filled with war.
Nothing will ever be forgotten because ten years later, it still exists.
