The war on terror is shown here through the shock these citizens feel over a suicide bomber. The interruption of daily lives was a problem for every single person in the frame. Some people are standing there crying over the destruction and loss of life. Others are discussing what just happened as they try to process events. Some people are examining the wreckage and looking for explanations. There are even a few people ignoring everything in favor of going somewhere. This one instance describes just how one person's misguided beliefs can affect so many who are innocent and neutral even though they should not be targets. The fact is this is sending the message of a dangerous organization that they will basically stop at nothing to get their point across. The young bomber is just another victim and was probably convinced that he was fighting on the "right" side and that he wanted to show the world what he believed was right. The spectators are mostly shocked about how one person would willingly blow themselves up in order to make a statement. Most importantly, the people who are ignoring the destruction are probably used to seeing this everywhere and have simply become jaded with the world as a whole.
